Avery and Tucker pre game incident not going unnoticed

Well Sean Avery is a pot stirrer. We all know it. You hate him if hes against you, and you love him if he plays for you. Last Saturday, at Air Canada Centre, the Leafs and Rangers went at it, physically and apparently, verbally. During pre-game, Avery and Leafs winger Darcy Tucker, got into a little bit of a verbal showdown. Avery ended up shoving Jason Blake also. He said a few things, and then that lead to the shoving. According to Tucker though, those words weren't directed towards hockey.

"You know, call us bad hockey players or whatever but when you start bringing other people into it, that's definitely crossing the line.”

Tucker acknowledged Avery's remarks but did not get into the details.

"He has no sense of class and you know, what goes around comes around in this game, eventually," said Tucker at the Maple Leafs practice on Monday.

The NHL is going to further investigate the situation that took place, according to a Canadian source. Of course, its going to be looked into. If the Rangers would have lost this game, this whole situation would have never brought up. Since Canada lost this battle on the scoreboard, and on the ice, they will have to come up with some sort of excuse why they lost the game.
