With scoring a total of 6 goals total on the road this season, the Rangers have to do something to spark them up away from MSG. They are 0-5-1 this season, only recording 1 point on the road. They have been shut out 3 of the 6 times they have been away from home this season. The road woes have also effected some of the top players. Jagr has yet to score a goal on the road in 6 games, and Gomez and Drury have combined for only 2 G and 3 A on road ice.
Whats even more ugly to look at, is the fact that Lundqvist has a 2.16 GAA on the road.........and an 0-5-1 record. With a road GAA like that, he should be well over .500. Toronto though hasn't been stellar at home this year, going 3-4-1 at Air Canada Centre. They have lost 3 in a row there, and have given up more than 5 goals in that span. The Rangers will have to break out of this funk on the road to continue to be a contender. If they don't they just may up being the laughing stock of the league, again, just like they were a few years back.
